You can use PSP also. Just open the page you want to do. Then press your Print screen button on your keyboard. Open PSP, right click and paste as new image. You can resize it from there.

Note to Admins about the Auto Skin Maker Skins............

YOU DO DESIGN IT YOURSELF........all the auto skin maker does is let us change the format of the skin to work on more then just aimoo forums.  We have to find the art, make tiles, buttons, icons....etc. for our skins and then plan the layout from boxes around areas of the skin to the color and size of the font.  It is not DOND FOR US we do it all ourselves.  I wish one of you would come around and let us show you how the skin maker works.  It is not easy and does take a designers eye to get anything worthwhile out of it!   In the next few weeks I am going to be teaching classes for this skin maker.   I would love to be able to show any of the admins or mods here how to use it.  It really is a lot of fun to use and with patience not that hard to learn.  But, beleive me....it does not just whip out skins with no planning or hard work!!!!  I know there are some here from old MSN that have been anti anything that scripts......they believe in keeping computer use archaic I guess.  Just keep an open mind.....stop by and see Blaze and learn about the great tools he creates and shares for free!  Thansk!   Teddie

Ok I know this has probably already been answered but I cannot find it.  I was under the impression that if you are a free forum that you did not have the capability to create your own skins.  Is that not the case if if so where do I go to start?  I have looked under my control panel and can find nothing about creating my own, only modifing what is already there.

That's it, just modify or edit the current skin as you like, also you could choose another skin from Aimoo's Skin library and edit on that format.

Doesn't Aimoo need original artwork created by the person designing the skin to prevent any possible copyright violations down the road? Especially since so many tubes are "free for personal use" Getting a year or 2 of free Diamond service is the same as being paid which does tend to violate most "free clipart and tube sites"

Do you have a specific complaint about one of the entries or you just stirring crap? If you have a specific complaint about a particular submission, you should ask the person that submitted it.

Actually,  winning a prize is not the same as selling someone elses work.  I do see where you are coming from though.  I used art from a site whose only requirement was a link back and they said nothing about using the art for a contest or anything else.   If you see art that you know should not be used I suggest you say something to the admins about it and let them take care of it.  Teddie

 most artist only stipulation that you have got to follow is give credit and follow tou as long as no terms of use are broken there isnt a problem the only problem with useing free to use art is if at some time in the future that artist goes pay to use the skin's wouldn't be useable.

I'm just trying to clarify rule # 3
3. Designs must be original to qualify.
I'm trying to determine if original means it's ok to use someone elses art and be original in the way you put it together or if you must really create the art yourself to fulfil rule # 3
I have yet to see the admin address this.
I have some members on my boards that want to submit designs from tubes but we aren't sure if this will be considered original

So what we are asking is...by "Original" do you mean their own pictures and own artworks.  If so, then those who worked hard using other art are wasting their time, and they should have the opportunity for the clarification I would think.

Agree with you, members changed or customized the backgrounds, icons are also allowed to submit.
